What is NIELIT (Formerly known as DOEACC Society)?

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) (formerly DOEACC Society w.e.f. 10-Oct-2011), is an autonomous body of the Department of Electronic & Information Technology (India)[DEITY], Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India with Head Quarters at CGO Complex, New Delhi. It is envisioned to bring the most updated global industry relevant computer education, within the reach of more and more in the areas of Information, Electronics and Communication Technology (IECT).

NIELIT is a joint Scheme of Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Department of Information Technology(erstwhile Department of Electronics) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India, a statutory body for the development of technical education, including computer education, in the country. The Scheme is administered by the NIELIT, an autonomous body of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Govt. of India.

Through this mail we just want to aware you that if you’re going to do PGDCA/DCA from any university whether it’s from central, state or deemed. All these universities come under UGC and from other side if you’re going to join DOEACCC ( NIELIT) O/A/B/C level diploma courses it’s also an autonomous body of Govt. of India. So, here you’ll clarify yourself that if you’re joining DOEACC courses it also be beneficial for you or we can say more beneficial because you’re not stopping your education to DCA or PGDCA but you’re going to BCA, MCA or MTech level through A/B/C level respectively.
